Opto Characterisation Engineer (m/f/d)

Job description
X-FAB is looking for a Opto Characterisation engineer (m/f/d) to join our Process Development Opto group with a focus on CMOS image sensors (CIS) and SPAD characterization, based in Erfurt, Germany, but working as part of an international organization developing mixed signal CMOS technologies.
Major Responsibilities:
- Characterization of Optical sensors, with a focus on CMOS Image sensor and SPAD.
- Image sensor and SPAD test development and test system maintenance
- Development and design of test structures for CMOS Image sensor and SPAD.
- Offer technical support to customers.
- Cooperation with external partners.
- Working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
Job requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Master of Engineering in Material Science, Physics, Microelectronics or related subject.
- Experience with CIS or SPAD development or characterization an advantage

- Good knowledge about device physics for optical sensors.
- Additional knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous: Experience in project work, circuit design and TCAD tools.
