RF Device Modeling Engineer (f/m/x)

Join our RF Technology Team. In this position you will work in a highly interactive environment with a mission to deliver RF technology solutions. The central role will be a RF modeling engineer responsible to create and validate device models that are suitable for high-frequency applications. We are seeking qualified candidates with a background in device physics and experience in RF device modeling.
Responsibilities
- Modeling of semi-conductor devices for radio-frequency applications using industry state of the art compact models such as PSP, UT-SOI, BSIM, HICUM, ASM-HEMT and others
- Extracting SPICE model parameters using industry modeling software such as Keysight IC-CAP. Synthetize their model cards and verify their compatibility with simulation environment.
- Create sub-circuit type models and provide their codes in VerilogA. Validate their accuracy against experimental data
- Elaborating statistical models for global (wafer to wafer) and local (Matching) process variation
- Design and implementation of layouts (test chips) for DC, CV and RF characterization allowing extraction of device electrical properties
- Work closely with the characterization engineers on defining measurement conditions requirement for model parameter extraction
- Work with colleagues from PDK team on delivering model cards and verifying their functionality after integration
- Generate model characteristics documentations for their delivery to customers
- Support business development on an as-needed basis to resolve client questions or issues.

Skills & Experiences
- Minimum of a master’s in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of device modeling experience preferably of RF devices & technologies
- Solid semi-conductor device physics understanding with emphasis on SOI, bulk or SiGe technologies
- Experience with ICCAP modeling software is a plus
- Experience in PEL/Python programming is a plus
- Experience with design simulation environment such as Cadence and ADS is a plus
- Experience in layout design and tape-out procedure is a plus
- Experience with EM simulation tools such as Momentum is a plus
- Familiarity with Linux environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team/support environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
