Customer Projects Engineer

Your Role:

To lead projects of new product introduction (prototyping) in accordance with GP4-2.
- People Management:
  - Ensure that individuals in the supply chain for customer prototypes are well informed, especially for any special requirements, in a timely manner.
  - Provide continuity and absence cover to lead problem solving or improvement teams and communicate progress to the team & customer.
- Implementation Management:
  - Communicate promptly and consistently to prototype customers.
  - Support internal customers on MPW vehicles.
  - Populate the project database with data to ensure instructions for mask tooling and process flow setup are accurately generated.
  - Minimize bottlenecks for tape in checks (PO, SiFo, data) and confirmation of requirements through clear instructions on starts sheet to other members of Logistics team.
  - Put in place reporting mechanisms to analyze and monitor activity, output and classification of errors to improve future control.
  - Seek new and improved methods/approaches of working.
  - Ensure quotes for subcontract activities such as sawing, assembly are available in a timely manner and relevant personnel have the required information for off-site probe or processing details.
  - Ensure adequate documentation is available to allow successful support during periods of absence.
  - Ensure that production release forms are distributed to customers as required and followed up when response is lacking.
  - Ensure that the Prototype material storage (masks and wafers) is reviewed by the customer in a timely manner and a decision is made for these stored masks and wafers.
- Technical Requirements:
  - Demonstrate a good understanding of current process modules and mask requirements for process families supported on site.
  - Develop accurate reporting tools to show performance of projects both in terms of quantity and quality.
  - Validate and define updates to price lists and quotation systems and ensure these are available and correctly implemented.
  - Vigilant monitoring of Prototypes, to quickly identify any problems and ensure quality standards and conformance achieved.
  - Ensure that process failures are accurately communicated to customers and progress to resolve such items is being performed in a timely manner.
  - Support problem solving teams to address issues that may arise within a specific module or more general problems that may require a wider organizational approach.
  - Understand new process modules and Technologies being introduced into the production process. Be aware of risk and maturity for prototyping and manage WIP requests accordingly.
  - Support the progress of PROTO lots 24 hour, 7 day operation.
- Training:
  - Develop a personal development plan.
  - Provide training guides and update procedural documentation for others to support and cover the prototype service.
- EHS and Quality:
  - To contribute towards the achievement of the EHS objectives by complying to the EHS policy and participating in the implementation of EHS management system.
  - To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste).

Your Profile:

Bachelor Degree of Engineering / Science or equivalent.
At least 1 to 3 years related working experience in semiconductor industry.
Skills / Competencies:
- Behavioral Competencies:
  - Team player, proactive and able to perform under pressure.
  - Cross-functional management skills essential.
  - Work independently with high accuracy in a systematic and organized way.
  - Able to speak good English and preferable one 2nd language (e.g. Mandarin or Japanese).
  - Presentable appearance and good communication skills (verbal & written).
- Technical / Functional Competencies.
  - CAM user skills.
  - CP device Database handling
