Engineer ESD Support / IO Cell Development (m/f/d)
Erfurt, Germany
Department: Technology, Design Support
Location: Erfurt
Microelectronic circuits are designed using modern design software (EDA) from various providers such as Cadence, Siemens or Synopsys, which complies with current industry standards. The design process can generally be divided into circuit design and simulation as well as physical implementation (layout). To realise the various design steps, Design Support provides a design environment, the so-called PDK (Process Design Kit), which contains libraries with technology-dependent components. These serve as the basis for the circuit to be designed.
You will work on the development of input/output cells (I/O cells) with a focus on digital I/O libraries and high voltage (HV) ESD protection. This includes the conception, design/layout, maintenance and further development of ESD protection structures and I/O pad libraries.
