Production Control Manager (f/m/d)

Corbeil-Essonnes, France

Job purpose:

To coordinate and lead the X-FAB France logistics teams in meeting the company's delivery targets, from the planning of manufacturing orders to the completion of wafer production.

Description of significant activities: 

To oversee the operational management of the Fab Planning teams:

  • Guarantee that the department's commitments regarding Quality and annual OTD (service rate) on deliveries to customers and prototypes are met.
  • Actively contribute to improving the Production OTD in order to ensure that annual targets are met.
  • Contribute to the development of new delivery projections and communication strategies with Customer Services (CS), to respond to new customer needs and requests.
  • Coordinate the analysis of detractors and the development of corrective action plans in the event of late deliveries.
  • Drawing up a technical strategy for the development of production projections and tools (in particular documentation) with his team, in line with the digitalisation strategy of the X-FAB France site.

To manage the Fab Planning department in line with the company's values and strategy:

  • Define and monitor performance indicators in order to achieve the department's objectives.
  • Making and supporting the operational and strategic decisions needed to meet the department's objectives.
    Organises, coordinates and monitors the department's activities in the short, medium and long term.
    Working as a team to foster a favourable working environment.

Profile:

  • In-depth knowledge of scheduling (cycle times, priority management, contingency and delay management, etc.) and industrial logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of the tools used by its teams: Excel VBA, databases, MES tools, Arts, industrial documentation, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard IT tools (office automation, ERP, etc.) and specific management tools.
  • In-depth team and project management skills.
  • General budget management skills.
  • General skills in analysing and using quality tools (8D, etc.).
  • General knowledge of standards applicable to its activities: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, Quality standards.
