Quality System Engineer

Corbeil-Essonnes, France

Job Purpose

  • Be responsible for defining and implementing the tools and methods used in quality management.

  • Coordinate all activities aimed at ensuring the company's compliance with standards or customer requirements.

Main Tasks

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Supporting the definition and deployment of the company's quality policy.

  • Managing the mapping of the company's operational processes (definition, updates, sharing, and adoption by users).

  • Raising employee awareness of customer and quality system requirements.

  • Managing/Supporting the improvement of quality tools (document management systems, SharePoint DMS, QMX, AX, etc.).

  • Initiating and participating in the definition of strategies/methodologies for managing, preventing, and correcting quality risks, as well as their implementation (organizational risks).

  • Measuring, monitoring, and communicating quality indicators and the efficiency/effectiveness of the quality system.

  • Managing internal quality audits: defining the plan, implementing it, and utilizing results.

  • Supporting preparation for and participating in external quality audits (QS or client audits).

  • Ensuring compliance with standards and procedures across all activities, aligned with the X-FAB group’s quality system.

Profile

You have expertise in:

  • Standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA6.3, etc.).

  • Quality tools (8D, 5W, Core tools: FMEA, MSA, etc.).

  • Quality documentation tools (QMX, DMS, SharePoint).

Skills

  • Strong internal and external communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to take a step back.

  • Teaching and coaching abilities.

Languages

  • Proficiency in English and French (written, spoken, and read).

Education

  • Scientific degree (Bac+5) and experience in the semiconductor industry and quality systems.
