Process Integration engineer (M/F/D)

Purpose of the Role
Design and optimize manufacturing processes for semiconductor components to meet performance, quality, yield, and reliability requirements.

Main Responsibilities

1. Process Development and Qualification:

   • Implement and qualify technical manufacturing solutions to ensure the integrity and functionality of mask stacks in the context of technology transfers or the creation of new technologies/options.

2. Process Monitoring and Improvement:

   • Monitor and optimize manufacturing process sequences to ensure functionality, manufacturability, competitiveness, timeliness, yield, and quality.

   • Ensure process stability against specifications (Process Window, Stack Tolerance).

3. Collaboration on Production Means:

   • Contribute to defining production means (chemical processes, equipment, etc.) while considering budgetary, environmental, and strategic constraints.

4. Documentation and Updates:

   • Develop and maintain related documentation: critical parameters, Process Flow, Control Plan, FMEA, etc.

5. Continuous Improvement:

   • Propose and implement actions to improve yield, performance, and manufacturability.

   • Validate process and/or equipment changes and qualification plans.

6. Excursion Management and Quality Support:

   • Support the Quality department in managing excursions and customer returns (technical support, 8D, MRB, communication).

   • Coordinate and implement corrective action plans.

7. Technical Support:

   • Provide technical support to Customer Service (CS) and Product teams.

   • Conduct technological monitoring to identify short- and medium-term improvement opportunities.

8. Standardization and Communication:

   • Promote process standardization across internal technologies and between X-FAB group sites.

   • Contribute to external communication with clients and other group sites, particularly for process/technology transfers.

9. Project Participation:

   • Manage activities within their technological scope as part of technological or product projects.

Required Profile

• Expertise in semiconductor processes and technical project management.

• Skills in process optimization, performance analysis, and quality management.

• Ability to work in a team, collaborate with internal and external partners, and communicate effectively.
