No matter if you are studying engineering sciences, natural sciences, business administration or humanities, we at X-FAB have a great variety of departments that offer interesting and challenging projects for interns. In many teams you will be included in the cooperations with colleagues from all over the world. You could, for example, join one of our Research and Development teams that work on exciting projects ranging from process development to design support to process characterization. Or you could support our Quality department on their journey to constantly enhancing our production processes or to benchmark our performances.

You are about to complete your master or bachelor studies, but you are still looking for a perfect topic for your thesis? Why not take the opportunity to write your thesis in cooperation with X-FAB? This way you can already build up business relations that might help for your job entry after your studies. In addition, you will already get to know important company processes from the world’s largest analog/mixed-signal foundry group.

Selecting the topic for a thesis is a very personal affair. It has to fit your individual interests and the emphasis of your university department. Of course, to create a win/win situation, the topic of your thesis has to fit company focus as well. We can check this fit during a first interview. Please send us a short summary of your dream topic with your unsolicited application. We will check with the respective departments if it is of relevance. We will then organize a first get-together with HR and the department. 

As a second option you can also check our Job Search where we publish potential thesis topics. Maybe you will already find the topic of your interest there.

If you like to challenge yourself with a project at X-FAB besides your dedication to your studies, you can apply as a working student. A temporary employment as a working student is possible in each of our departments. Working students support the daily work with a maximum of 20 hours per weeks during the semester/term and a maximum of 40 hours per week during semester breaks/term breaks.
