X-FAB’s office in the heart of Silicon Valley was set up in the early 2000. The local team of sales engineers based in San Jose supports customers with technical expertise and commercial processing, and works on developing new business opportunities.
In 2008, the X-FAB Korea sales and support office was established. The local team supports existing customers with technical expertise and commercial processing, and works on developing new business opportunities, thus helping to bring our customers’ product ideas to life.
X-FAB’s office in Japan is based in Yokohama and was established in 2006. Our sales and support team there is providing technical expertise and commercial advice to Japanese customers mainly from the automotive and medical market. In fact, X-FAB Japan is the pioneer for offering foundry service to automotive suppliers in Japan.
The X-FAB Shanghai office was established in 2009. The team has grown continuously over the past few years in order to better serve our fast-growing Chinese customer base. At present, this team includes colleagues from marketing, sales and technical support.
X-FAB’s Taiwan office is conveniently located between Hsinchu Science Park, Tai Yuen Hi-Tech Industrial Park and the Hsinchu high speed railway station. The local team provides technical and commercial support to serve our Taiwan customer base.
The X-FAB Hong Kong office was set up in 2014. The focus of the team there is to provide technical support on our CMOS, MEMS & SiC technologies to customers based in China and Hong Kong.
X-FAB has had a presence in Plymouth ever since 2002. The small team of very experienced engineers works in various roles, including managing projects across the entire X-FAB organization in the fields of opto, MEMS and CMOS technologies. There are also engineers working in roles such as technical hotline, process characterization and process development.
Our R&D team based in Voronezh, Russia, consists of more than 30 highly qualified engineers who are developing and supporting X-FAB’s digital and analog libraries as well as memory compilers for all our major technology platforms. The developed IPs are tested in an own test lab.
